Caledonia, Wisconsin (July 25, 2013) – Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, Inc. (M&I), a global meeting and event management company, has been selected as a Cvent 2013 Planner Award winner in the Savvy Sourcing category. Cvent’s first installment of this awards program honored nominees in five competitive categories that were each evaluated by a panel of Cvent judges.
“We’re excited to honor our customers who have exemplified success in various meeting and event functions,” said Eric Eden, vice president of marketing at Cvent. “These organizations have certainly set the bar for years to come and we’re pleased to continue to recognize excellence within our rapidly growing industry.”
Winners for each category were announced at Cvent’s Corporate Meetings Summit, an elite event attended by more than 500 senior-level travel, meeting and procurement professionals from around the world. These high-performing clients were presented with a crystal “Plannie” for exhibiting excellence in meetings and event planning functions.
“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized as an industry leader and innovator by one of our strategic partners,” said Tina Madden, CFO and partner. “I am very proud of our global sourcing services team for combining their expertise with our cutting-edge technology to deliver measurable results to our valued clients.” As part of M&I’s SMM strategy, they announced the promotion of David Sachs to Director, SMM Analytics.
