Caledonia, Wisconsin (February 20, 2017) – Meetings & Incentives Worldwide (M&IW), a global meeting and event management company, is pleased to announce it has appointed Denise Farrell as the Director of Global Procurement.
Denise, a 20-year veteran of the meetings and hospitality industries, brings a wealth of experience to her position. She will report to Lisa Palmeri, Vice President of Global Enterprise Solutions. “Denise will have a focus on sourcing process excellence including efficiency gains and new savings performance targets. Overall company focus on employee professional development translates to enhanced service to clients.” said Lisa.
Denise will be responsible for providing leadership to the dedicated team of M&IW buyers located across the US and the UK as well as our partners in the APAC region. In her role, she will oversee the direction for strategic sourcing initiatives, client expansion and new business opportunities both domestically and globally.
As a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt with hands-on experience in project management and process improvement, Denise can offer best practices on how to incorporate technology in the sourcing process efficiently and effectively to better meet customer expectations and bottom-line objectives. Working closely with our SMM Analytics team, she will leverage sourcing data to deliver business intelligence and real-time results for our clients.
