Caledonia, Wisconsin (August 16, 2013) – Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, Inc. (M&I), a global meeting and event management company, is among the winners of The Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Firms award. In all, the Milwaukee Business Journal is honoring 30 southeastern Wisconsin firms. All of the firms saw substantial growth between 2010 and 2012.

The Business Journal received more than 90 nominations for the award and the winners were chosen based on their percentage of growth over the past three years. “Despite the many obstacles that companies face in their day-to-day operations, including a struggling economy, these firms have been able to overcome those obstacles and remain on track,” said Mark Kass, The Business Journal’s editor-in-chief.

“Similar to most companies, M&I was impacted by economics. Our clients experienced considerable cost pressures related to their travel and event budgets. We leveraged our expertise and buying power to negotiate more aggressive pricing and cost savings. As a result, we were able to retain our clients and when economics improved we had to scale our staff quickly,” said Tina Madden, CFO and Partner. M&I will continue its growth plan with the addition of key account management positions to ensure the highest level of service to our valued clients. Additionally, to support global clients, M&I is expanding its presence into the UK.
