Denise, a 20-year veteran of the meetings and hospitality industries, brings a wealth of experience to her position. As a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt with hands-on experience in project management and process improvement, Denise can offer best practices on how to incorporate technology in the sourcing process efficiently and effectively to better meet customer expectations and bottom-line objectives. • Lisa joins the M&IW team bringing more than 30 years of experience in consulting, directing and building global teams. She consulted with clients on SMM best practices, global roll-outs and adoption strategies.
• Prior to Cvent, Lisa managed corporate travel and meeting initiatives for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company. While implementing new systems at Abbott Laboratories, she was bit by the technology bug and accepted a unique opportunity to join a startup in Silicon Valley and transition into professional services.

CERTIFICATION AS A WOMEN’S BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (WBE)
Caledonia, Wisconsin (May 9, 2013) – Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, Inc. (M&I), a global meeting, incentive and association management company, announced today that it has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the WBDC-Chicago, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
WBENC’s national standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women. The women business owners must further direct policy, fiscal, and operational matters for the company. Finally, the women business owners must have the ability to perform in the company’s area of specialty without reliance on the finances or resources of a non-women owned entity.
