Denise, a 20-year veteran of the meetings and hospitality industries, brings a wealth of experience to her position. She will report to Lisa Palmeri, Vice President of Global Enterprise Solutions. “Denise will have a focus on sourcing process excellence including efficiency gains and new savings performance targets. Overall company focus on employee professional development translates to enhanced service to clients.” said Lisa.
Denise will be responsible for providing leadership to the dedicated team of M&IW buyers located across the US and the UK as well as our partners in the APAC region. In her role, she will oversee the direction for strategic sourcing initiatives, client expansion and new business opportunities both domestically and globally.
As a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt with hands-on experience in project management and process improvement, Denise can offer best practices on how to incorporate technology in the sourcing process efficiently and effectively to better meet customer expectations and bottom-line objectives. Working closely with our SMM Analytics team, she will leverage sourcing data to deliver business intelligence and real-time results for our clients.

• Lisa joins the M&IW team bringing more than 30 years of experience in consulting, directing and building global teams. (M&I), a global meeting, incentive and association management company, announced today that it has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the WBDC-Chicago, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
WBENC’s national standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women. The women business owners must further direct policy, fiscal, and operational matters for the company.
